Hi wonderful people,

this is an English speaking group of people of all ages, nationalities and origins. Everybody is welcome to join. The way is the goal! (Konfuzius)

Where the journey starts:

We will meet at Berlin Hauptbahnhof (or stops along the way) to take RE1 to Erkner.

Travel time: approx 1 hour in each direction.

Total trip time depends on how much time we spend in Woltersdorf.

Route: 

From S-Bahnhof Rahnsdorf we will take the old tram (worth experiencing!) to Woltersdorf.  In Woltersdorf there are sights and short walks. We will walk a scenic lake trail back to Erkner and from there take the train back to Berlin. 

Specials on the way:

In Woltersdorf we can visit the floodgate (Schleuse), the Liebesquelle (source of love) and the observation tower on Kranichsberg. 

While walking back we will have  a picnic break near one of the lakes, so please feel free to bring your lunch with you. If the weather allows, and for those who want there will be an opportinuty to cool down in one of the lakes with a swim. 

Finally, please note:  

- heavy rain cancels the event.

- please be able to walk 3-4 hours at a moderate pace.

- be sure to bring water, snacks and lunch.

- (Optional: to bring snacks to share) 

- this is primarily an English-speaking group.

- be sure to bring your 9 euro ticket or equivalent.

- Group limit: 10 people / if you wish to bring a friend, please let us know in advance
